Don’t Close Your Eyes… collaborative creations and writing to a prompt (audio, words, backstory)

Sometimes it is a collaborative sharing that provides the beginning of a synergistic creation. A simple… “Hey, I have this track I’m not sure what to do with… got any ideas?”I love that kind of challenge… something deep inside stirs and starts working away at it (sometimes subconsciously) until enough of the idea rises to the surface, hinting at the direction it wants to go in, and I can flesh it out from there.

Sea of Silence… How experimenting with a new tool can lead to something way cool (audio, video, story)

[Hey, that rhymes! It was unintentional, but somehow fitting… I’ll run with it.] Something popped up in my Facebook memories today that reminded me how ever-present our creativity is… how cool stuff can come from unexpected places and we can find inspiration hidden in plain sight if we just explore and experiment. (Well, in honesty… …

Wireframes that keep on giving: Designing in the Development Technology – Part II: WPF Prototype Under The Hood

The wireframe exploration continues… In Part I of this series, I explained the design nut I wanted to crack: brainstorm a method to create the wireframe for a development project in the technology the application would be developed in and, ideally, to come up with a template to streamline that process. Optimally, to define an …

Wireframes that keep on giving: Designing in the Development Technology – Part I: The Theory

Something I’ve been messing with… Design conundrum: What’s the best way to illustrate or sketch out my proposed design of screens and functionality flow for a client’s project, creating an interactive model that contributes to the development effort? I’m a “one woman shop” right now, so I need to streamline my workflow as much as …
