What is Qigong?
Qigong (also spelled Ch’i Kung) is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (qi). Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind.
Qigong is a moving meditation (similar to yoga) that both causes deep relaxation in the mind and keeps the body moving gently. In the state of relaxation that occurs when practicing qigong, the blood vessels get larger, making available a bigger volume of oxygen-rich blood for the whole body.
In its simplest form, the Chinese character for qi, in Qigong, can mean air, breath, or “life force”. Gong means work, so Qigong is therefore the practice of “working” with ones “life force”.

My journey with Energy Healing Arts…
Qigong and energy healing arts have enriched my life in many ways. From my first experience with Supreme Science Qigong at the June 2008 Orlando Qi Revolution, I have experienced profound benefits from my Qigong practice: an energized serenity, a calming focus of mind, a renewal of spirit. Since that time, I have expanded my journey with the energy healing arts, deepening my knowledge. With each practice, I feel the effect of the Qi intensify. Embracing Qi has been a catalytic force and inspiration, igniting change in me and in my life in profound ways.
Qigong and Energy Healing Arts continue to give me the clarity of mind, peace of spirit, and energetic empowerment to pursue my life’s journey and purpose: to serve and heal with my art and interactions, adding my voice and energy to the chorus of many, helping to move our world toward a global positive shift. It is my belief that understanding and embracing Qi and our connection with the Divine Source play an integral role in manifesting that shift.
