As well as the aural and the written, I like to explore the visual (and the physical) artistic realm.

In the sections below, I share a variety of my different creative expressions.

Beadwork: Back To Top

Beadwork is one of my reigning creative expressions.

I’ve been fascinated with beading since I was a little girl. As a professional vocalist, I’ve frequently embellished my stage attire to “bling it out” for my performances (this has also come in very handy for mending expensive sequined and beaded gowns. A girl could go broke keeping those suckers in good shape ;)

My favorite expression of this art form is designing and creating beaded jewelry and sculptural objects. I am especially drawn to all forms of intricate beadweaving.

In the spirit of “always creating”… if I’m watching TV, I’m beading.
(much to my fiance’s dismay – Thank God for DVDs, rewind, and a patient man *lol*)

Wire-Wrapped Pendants – NEW design:
These are the newest take on my wire-wrapped beaded pendant design… A sleeker beaded frame showcasing a beautiful Swarovski crystal pendant in the center (I’m a real bling bling girl… I LOVE sparkly things and I adore Swarovski crystals :)

Wire-Wrapped Pendants – original design:

This is my original wire-wrapped pendant design. The beaded framework in these designs has a more organic look, complimenting the semi-precious stone pendants they showcase (although some of these feature Swarovski pendants, as well).

    Do you truly know that you DON’T have my abilities? Set your mind on something you want to do… and just DO it. You may be surprised by the results!

    and isn’t that what you are doing with your writing?

    None of us is an expert at a given thing the first time we try it… and sometimes the initial results can be discouraging…
    but, if you love it, keep doing it.
    You’ll see…
